Join our zookeeper team as they feed the Mexican Wolves their PM meal. Find out what they eat in the zoo as opposed what they would find in the wild.
Learn about the zoo's Cross-Fostering Program and the vital role it plays in the Mexican Wolf Recovery Program. This program involves the breeding and releasing of human care-born Mexican Gray Wolves into the wild to support the recovery of the species. In addition, find out about the zoo's No Imprinting policy, which is designed to remove human contact as much as possible so that once wolves are released into the wild, they do not gravitate towards human-occupied areas and risk getting hurt.
