Learn how zookeepers improve and enhance an animal's quality of life through our enrichment program. Enrichment in zoos is essential for enhancing animal welfare and encouraging natural behaviors and may include puzzle feeders, climbing structures, and sensory stimulation through new scents and objects.

Come prepared with questions and and ask our zoo specialists anything you have in mind.

Cotton-top tamarins are tiny, critically endangered primates from Colombia, weighing less than a pound and featuring a distinct white mohawk that makes them resemble Einstein.

Known for their complex communication and cooperative child-rearing, these energetic monkeys live in small, tightly-knit families and are vital for rainforest seed dispersal.
