Learn how zookeepers improve and enhance an animal's quality of life through our enrichment program. Enrichment in zoos is essential for enhancing animal welfare and encouraging natural behaviors and may include puzzle feeders, climbing structures, and sensory stimulation through new scents and objects.

Come prepared with questions and and ask our zoo specialists anything you have in mind.

The pronghorn has eyes on the side of their head, they have a 320-degree field of vision and can detect movement up to 4 miles away.

Their hair is hollow, which provides excellent insulation in cold weather and keeps them buoyant in water.
