This hands-on workshop is designed for adults who want to support shelter pets in meaningful ways. Participants will learn to read and understand animal body language, create enrichment items to help keep pets happy and engaged, and gain insight into responsible pet ownership. The class also covers important topics such as pet overpopulation and the role of spaying and neutering. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the shelter, see programs in action, and learn how their efforts can make a real difference in the lives of animals and the people who care for them.
