Copal: History and Traditions with Cantareras

The El Paso Museum of History in collaboration with Cantareras will be offering a two-day long workshop diving into the history, sacred properties, and traditions of copal (tree resin). During the sessions, participants will create their own popoxcomitl (incense burner) to take home while learning about copal’s Mesoamerican roots and place in cosmology.

Saturday, October 25 from 1 pm - 4 pm

Sunday, October 26 from 1 pm- 3 pm

 Cost: $100 (includes all materials and firing).
