Teatro Sin Fronteras presents a first look at CODEX MIQUIZTLI, an illustrated storybook about the indigenous origins of Dia de los Muertos. Join local author Demian Chavez Galvan for a sneak peek and a conversation about the historical and cultural inspirations behind this storybook. The book, written in English, Spanish, and Nahuatl, seeks to raise the awareness and appreciation of indigenous languages among our borderland community. You can pick up your own handcrafted copy of CODEX MIQUIZTLI at our Día de los Muertos Festival!
