Love reading and helping animals? Join us for our next Kitty Reading Book Club Orientation!
Children ages 8-13 and their parents are invited to join our Kitty Reading Book Club, a unique volunteer program that helps shelter cats build confidence and social skills while encouraging a love of reading.
This orientation is the first step to becoming a Kitty Reader volunteer. During the session, families will learn about the program, volunteer expectations, cat body language, and how reading benefits shelter pets. After completing orientation, volunteers can visit participating shelter locations to read to cats throughout the year.
